Name of project: Genetic and Physiological architecture of weed competitive ability in Iranian wheat landraces CSS-111 (PC-6317)
Salary: Rs. 31000/- per month + 16 % HRA
Duration: six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.
Applications are welcomed on the prescribed form along with the application fee of Rs. 200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. along with attested copies of certificates for One position of Junior Research Fellow @ Rs. 31000/- per month + 16 % HRA in the Project “Genetic and Physiological architecture of weed competitive ability in Iranian wheat landraces CSS-111 (PC-6317)” for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.
Essential Qualifications:
B.Sc. in Agriculture/B.Tech (Biotechnology) with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
M.Sc. Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Genetics Crop Plants/Genomics/Biotechnology/Biochemistry with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks.
Note I: The candidate who does not possess a Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses a Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at the Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.Desired Qualifications: Experience in fieldwork and molecular biology-related work.
How to Apply:
The fellowship is purely temporary and initially awarded for a period of six months which may be extended for a further period of six months at a time or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.
The last date for the receipt of applications (duly completed in all respects) in this office is 20/02/2020. Incomplete applications or unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The applicant should appear for interview on 25/02/2020 at 11:00 AM in the office of the undersigned. No separate info for an interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The application form is available PAU website www.pau.edu.The Junior Research Fellow resigning the Fellowship shall have to give one month notice or one month salary in lieu of one month notice. However, this will not hold good in respect of other assignments in the PAU.
