The Central Zoo Authority (CZA) has actually been established as a statutory body under MoEFCC in the year 1992 (web site http://www.cza.nic.in/). The major goal of this Authority is to complement and reinforce the national effort in conservation of the rich biodiversity of the country, specifically the fauna as per the National Zoo Policy, 1998. Just shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview on 21.01.2020. Candidates must bring a copy of filled -in application with attested true copies of testimonials of educational certifications together with a certificate of extracurricular activities, date of birth, mark sheets of all exams etc. All original documents/ certificates must be produced at the time of interview. Applicants currently residing in remote locations of India (specifically J&K and northeast India) can appear in an interview online through video conference/ skype. Such candidates need to post attested copies of their EQ as well as DQ credentials on or before 16th January 2020 for scrutiny at CZA. Just shortlisted applicants will be allowed to participate through video conference/ skype on 21st January 2020 afternoon.
No TA/DA or accommodation will be provided for attending the interview.
The selected candidate will be hired on outsource basis through outsourcing agency.

MSc. In Wildlife Science/ Life Sciences/ Environmental Sciences from a recognized university with at the very least 1 year of work experience.
Desirable Qualifications: PhD in Zoology, Wildlife sciences or veterinary science
Domain knowledge and a minimum of 2-year field experience of working in Zoos & ex-situ conservation/ Protected Areas
To assist the Authority on
a) Formulation of conservation breeding and scientific management of zoos
b) To support in formulating policy, rules and regulations pertaining to zoos and ex-situ conservation
